The International Graduate School of English at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS) in Hanoi, Vietnam. The signing ceremony, which took place on the 25th of last month in Hanoi, was attended by HUFS President Lee Jae-hee, ULIS President Do Tuan Minh, and officials from both institutions.


According to HUFS President Lee Jae-hee, "This agreement will be a catalyst for HUFS to establish itself as a leading university for interpreting and translation education in Asia." ULIS President Do Tuan Minh also stated, "We hope that the specific cooperation programs between the two institutions will serve as a bridge for us to enhance our ability to interpret Korean and Vietnamese and to gain a wealth of knowledge and practical experience."


Under the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in various fields, including faculty exchange, student exchange, research programs, and projects.
